Owner of Labyrinth Overland.

Lee Waldman

Lee is the kind of guy who can meet someone with a cool rig and chat for hours about details of the build. If he can pet your dog and you offer him a beer, you've got a new friend.

Originally from England, Lee has a long history of designing, building, troubleshooting, and repairing systems. In his 19 years on luxury super yachts as Chief Engineer, Lee achieved the highest certification, which included extensive training in all aspects of marine engineering and the associated systems. He was responsible for the safety and comfort of the crew and discerning guests in remote locations – a high-pressure job role that involved being away from home for months at a time.

During his time off, Lee spent his free time building a custom camper trailer and then a Ford Transit van to explore the outdoors. As many people do after two decades of work in a stressful field, Lee reconsidered his priorities in life. After traveling Canada, the US (including Alaska), and Baja California, Mexico in the van, he decided to upgrade to a truck camper that would keep up with his determination to access remote locations in comfort.

The rest is history. Lee will pontificate for hours on the benefits of truck campers. His love of building brought him to start Labyrinth Overland, LLC on the western slope of Colorado, a mecca for outdoor adventures. Contact Lee to discuss the details of your truly bespoke build that is perfectly suited for your lifestyle.

Lead Assembly Technician

Madi Gleckler

Started her craftsmanship learning woodworking from her dad and grandpa. With a few years of practice in woodworking, she was able to fully build out her own adventure VW Westfalia. She fell in love with this experience and started working for a company in Colorado building out camper vans. She learned more skills while working for this company, and perfected her skills in sewing. She specializes in sewing cushion covers, curtains, outdoor wear, outdoor gear, and clothing alterations. Life has led her to Labyrinth Overland, and she is ecstatic to utilize her building, fabricating, and sewing skills for luxury truck campers!

Luxury Comfort Consultant

Heidi

With over 8 years of experience in testing and evaluating every vehicle that has been modified and designed around her, Heidi knows a thing or two about what is required to ensure she is suitably compensated for the services she provides to anyone that needs a cuddle and moral support.

Sadly due to her lack of opposable thumbs her truck camper building skills have not developed very far, but even so she is a vital part of the team at Labyrinth.
